He’s back and he’s at it again! We just got word about the release of a new trailer for Michael Moore’s upcoming movie, “Capitalism – A Love Story”. Say what you want about Michael Moore’s productions and be you a fiscal liberal or conservative, they are funny. For whatever reasons you hold. I have to admit, when the neocon strategy started to emerge I laughed it off. I thought, after this past election in November, that the American people had proven that their collective resistance to BS had overcome such nonsense. We didn’t fall for the race baiting, pals around with terrorists, he’s a socialist, he’s a Muslim, or any of the other desperate, underhanded schemes to get people to vote against Obama for any reason other than the facts. Yet, here we are. The neocon misinformation machine has convinced a large portion of the American populous to fight against their own best interests. I think I need to make something clear before I begin. This isn’t a hit piece. Rather it’s more me thinking out loud and wondering if people protesting health care reform and more specifically a public (government run) option, really know what they are protesting. Do they really know what it is they are fighting for? It’s a true and legitimate question considering the behavior I’ve seen of late and the lemming style regurgitating of misinformed rhetoric that is surging from the “grassroots” on the right.
